A panel of doctors of Delhi's AIIMS submitted their report to the CBI in the case of Sushant Singh Rajput's death. It is informed by quoting sources that this report states that he did not die due to poisoning. The allegations and claims of poisoning were raised on behalf of Sushant's family and others. The Mumbai Police in its report had cited suicide as the cause of death, which was opposed to the poisoning allegations.
According to media reports, the team has not found any poison in Viscera. On August 21, a team of five AIIMS doctors was formed under the leadership of Dr. Sudhir Gupta to investigate Sushant's autopsy report. The team was scheduled to submit the report on September 20, but it was delayed by 8 days.
The body of 34-year-old Sushant Rajput was found in his Mumbai apartment on 14 June under suspicious circumstances. The Mumbai Police had termed it a case of suicide based on autopsy, but a lot of allegations and counter-allegations started on the social media, the Justice for Sushant campaign went on. Subsequently, Sushant's girlfriend Riya Chakraborty was accused on behalf of Sushant's family, which turned into an increasingly large CBI investigation, then the Enforcement Directorate and the Narcotics Control Bureau were also involved in several aspects and allegations.
